About US
The Korean Animal Model Archive (KAMA) is a web portal established to enhance research by offering access to genetically modified models such as mouse, Drosophila, zebrafish, Xenopus (African clawed frog), and C. Elegans. Additionally, it includes non-modified models like the minipig, marmoset, and non-human primates. KAMA features a user-friendly search function that allows researchers to find domestic model animal resource information by disease and gene name, thereby supporting efficient and convenient utilization of research resources.
The Korean Animal Model Archive (KAMA) aims to build a comprehensive domestic model animal resource database by integrating with individual model animal resource portals. Operated by the Korea Model Animal Priority Center (KMPC) as the central bank for model animals, KAMA links data from various model animal resource portals. This integration allows researchers to efficiently search for and utilize various resources.
